The short version
The currently published image and audio tools process selected files in your browser. base97 does not receive those source files or generated outputs through the tool workflows. The production website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage, and the Image Tools directory can save your chosen tools in local browser storage.
There are currently no base97 user accounts, payment flows or backend file libraries.
Image, audio and tool results
When you choose a file in a published base97 image or audio tool, browser APIs read and process it on your device. Previews use local object URLs, and downloads are created by the browser. The current workflow does not upload those files to a base97 server.
Your browser and device still control temporary memory, downloaded files and any backups or synchronization configured outside base97. Avoid processing a sensitive file on a device you do not trust.
Analytics
In production, base97 loads Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-VYNTLS9S3Z. Google Analytics may process standard usage, browser, device, referrer and approximate location information according to Google's services and your browser settings. base97 does not send the contents of your selected image or audio files to Google Analytics.

Browser storage
The Image Tools directory uses local storage under the key base97.saved.image-tools.v1 when you save tools. This preference remains in that browser until you remove it, clear site data or the browser removes it. It is not a base97 account and is not synchronized by base97 across devices.
Hosting and routine request data
Hosting, network and security providers may process routine request information needed to deliver the website, such as an IP address, timestamp, requested route and browser headers. Their exact records and retention periods depend on the infrastructure in use and are not represented here as a base97 guarantee.
External links and your choices
Links to X, Google or other websites are governed by those services' own terms and privacy practices. You can restrict cookies or analytics with browser controls, privacy extensions or settings offered by those providers. You can remove saved tools by clearing local site data.
Blocking JavaScript or essential browser APIs may prevent the tools from working because file processing happens in the browser.
Changes and contact
This policy will be revised when base97 adds a materially different data flow, service provider or account feature. The update date at the top of the page identifies the current version.
